CultiVentures
Sometimes connecting people with nature takes place in our own backyard. And sometimes it takes a venture out!
CultiVentures are trips lead by Cultiv8Community staff to visit important places in wildlife conservation and habitat restoration. You’ll get to explore new places, learn about nature from experts, and make connections with amazing people.
We hope you join us for an upcoming venture soon, or let us know if there’s a place we need to visit!
Upcoming Ventures
Birding the Texas Coast
Thursday April 8 - Sunday April 11, 2027
During their spring migrations, thousands of birds crossing the Gulf of Mexico make landfall on the coast of Texas. It’s one of America’s biggest birding hot spots!
We’ll stay in Galveston and visit High Island, Bolivar Flats, the Jocelyn Nungaray National Wildlife Refuge, and more as we explore the unique ecosystems of the Texas Coast.
Klamath River Restoration
Thursday October 7 - Sunday October 10, 2027
In 2024, three dams were removed on the Klamath River in Northern California and Southern Oregon. Our conservation partners at RES have been working hard to rewild the river and help the landscape heal. And this year, they’ve invited us to come during the salmon spawn! We’ll explore from the Pacific Coast into the mountains of Oregon, watch wild salmon return to spawning grounds that were inaccessible for 100 years, and learn about major challenges in habitat restoration.
